Day 273 - For Ann Marie

My friend from Massachusetts came south last weekend for her first SEC football weekend. Among other firsts for Ann Marie: boiled peanuts. We've got a Cajun-seasoned pot going this evening.

Day 244 - Jubilee

"Jubilee" is the name of a rare phenomenon that occurs only two places on the planet - one of which is on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, where we live. When a jubilee occurs, marine life comes ashore in droves. These flounder are a tiny portion of what Mr. Andi collected at last night's jubilee (and you can see that a certain feline enjoys the jubilees, as well).
